Getting Here

By air
Roskilde Airport (Roskilde Lufthavn), located 8 km from the centre of Roskilde (and 40 km from Copenhagen), serves as a main regional airport for Zealand and the area of Greater Copenhagen and has both domestic and international flights. It has car rental and taxi service (taxi will cost 120 – 150 DKK depending on the time of the day).
Busses No 212 and 213 will take you to town either from outside the terminal or from the bus stop on the road by the airport.

By train
There are good train connections from Copenhagen, the Öresund region and the rest of Denmark. The travel from Copenhagen central station to Roskilde Station will take 21 minutes by Inter City train and up to 10 minutes longer when travelling on regional trains. On weekdays, there are up to six trains per hour between Copenhagen and Roskilde.
